Sandrya Valmaña is a senior manager in the Tax Litigation area at our São Paulo office. With more than 20 years’ experience in advising clients on strategic tax lawsuits, she accumulated expertise in the conduct of infraction notices and in the judicial sponsorship of tax lawsuits of all kinds, especially tax evasion and tax credit recovery.

She makes a special study of civil procedure law as it applies to tax law, closely reads decisions from the Superior Court of Justice and Brazilian Supreme Court and skillfully supports and guides her team in the skills needed to find the best procedural solutions

Ms. Valmaña is responsible for conducting due diligence and has a special focus on managing large tax liabilities in tax execution actions. She also has experience in civil litigation, with a focus on consumer law, sales representation, contracts and civil liability.

Ms. Valmaña is member of the Administration and Professional Ethics Committee at Centro de Estudos das Sociedades de Advogados – CESA.
