Ana Luisa Siqueira Mattos

Ana Luisa Siqueira is partner in the Tax Consulting area in our Rio de Janeiro office. She focuses on tax and customs law, international tax law and Regulatory (Oil & Gas). She has over 15 years’ experience and advises companies on tax matters.

Ms. Siqueira works with companies from a broad range of industries, particularly navigation, petroleum and gas and infrastructure.

Marcelo Carvalho Pereira

Marcelo Pereira is a partner in the Tax Consulting area in our Rio de Janeiro office. He has over 13 years’ experience in tax law and focuses on the petroleum and gas, navigation, shipbuilding and infrastructure industries. He works frequently with issues involving tax and customs advising, tax planning and tax litigation.

Mr. Pereira teaches tax law in the MBA and LLM courses at Fundação Getúlio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro and is a member of the Petroleum and Derivatives Committee of the Rio de Janeiro Section of the Brazilian Bar Association, the Tax Committee of the Dutch Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (DUTCHAM), of the Brazilian Association for Financial Law (ABDF) and of the International Fiscal Association (IFA).

Mauro da Cruz Jacob

Mauro Jacob works in our Tax and Corporate Law areas. He works with tax advising and litigation, with an emphasis on transfer pricing, tax planning, international transactions and corporate restructuring, including mergers and acquisitions. In addition, he also works in the Regulatory area, focusing on Telecommunications. He has 28 years’ experience and has worked at major multinational companies and large accounting firms. He frequently advises domestic and international companies in the energy, industry, retail and insurance sectors.

Mr. Jacob teaches graduate courses in Rio de Janeiro and author of the book “Business Combinations, Tax Aspects”.

Mr. Jacob is recognized by The Legal 500 Latin America and Análise Advocacia 500.

Alexandre Barcik

Alexandre Barcik advises in the Tax Consulting area at our Curitiba office. He has over 13 years’ experience in business law and focuses on tax diagnostic analyses and reviews, tax planning, technical letters and opinions, calculation of tax credits, special installment payment plans for tax debts and consulting for certification as an Authorized Economic Operator (OEA).

Mr. Barcik’s work is focused in the south of Brazil and his clients include companies from a broad range of industries, including electric power, agricultural manufacturing, agribusiness, retail, food services and plastics.
