He focuses on results and has broad knowledge in risk prevention, challenges to tax infraction notices and the reduction of administrative and judicial liabilities. He performs solid work in administrative and judicial litigation at the municipal, state and federal levels. He prepares legal opinions involving the analysis of transactions with direct and indirect tax implications and potential risks regarding the tax authorities and the courts.

Marcos Bueno is a senior manager in the Tax Consulting Area at our Curitiba office. He has over ten years’ experience and focuses on serving clients in issues related to corporate income tax, CSLL tax and PIS/COFINS taxes, tax diagnoses, compliance with accessory obligations, SPED modules and tax accounting, among others.
Mr. Bueno advises companies from various industries, including food services, agriculture, ceramic tile and textiles in the south of Brazil.
Álvaro Rotunno is a partner in the Tax Litigation area at our Curitiba office. He has over seven years’ experience and focuses his work on administrative and judicial tax litigation at the municipal, state and federal levels. He performs outstanding work before supreme courts, federal courts for the Fourth Region and before administrative hearing bodies such as the Taxes and Fees Hearing Board and the Paraná State Taxpayer and Tax Appeals Board.
Mr. Rotunno serves companies from various industries, including retail, food services, clothing, finance, real estate and cosmetics in the south of Brazil.
Theodoro Mattos is a partner in the Tax Consulting area at our Curitiba office. He has over 15 years’ experience and focuses on direct taxes. He advises companies and individuals in restructuring and evaluating tax structures, provides tax reviews, identifies and calculates credits, prepares legal opinions, evaluates tax issues related to sending funds abroad, analyzes tax opportunities and contingencies and monitors audits. He also works in merger and acquisition transactions, particularly by advising on due diligence.

Roseli Pazzetto advises in the Tax Litigation area at our office in Curitiba. She has a solid career in the field of business law, with over 27 years of experience. She focuses her work on administrative and judicial tax litigation at the municipal and federal levels, including public bid proceedings. She serves companies from various industries, including agribusiness, automotive, auto parts, food services, banking, metallurgy, ceramic tile and logistics in the south of Brazil.
Ms. Pazzetto is a member of the Brazilian Institute of Financial Executives (IBEF/PR), as well as the Agribusiness Law Committee of Paraná Section and the Brazilian Bar Association.

He has over 20 years’ experience and works in administrative and judicial tax litigation at the municipal, state and federal levels. Frederico Cunha advises in the Tax Litigation area at our Curitiba office. He has over 11 years’ experience working with business clients and focuses his practice on tax planning and tax litigation, particularly on administrative and judicial litigation at the municipal, state and federal levels. He performs outstanding work before administrative appeals boards such as the Administrative Tax Appeals Board (CARF), the Paraná Taxpayers’ Council, the TAT/SC and TARF/RS taxpayer appeals boards and the Paraná State and Fourth Region Federal courts.
